During the hunt for the Yorkshire Ripper I worked with West Yorkshire police's 'Ripper Squad' and then subsequently directly with serial killer Peter Sutcliffe in Broadmoor.
He suggested I contact a woman he first said was his aunt (not true) and then said was a friend of his late mother (not true); her name is Olive Curry and she, as it transpired, was connected to him in a quite different way. I believe she IS telling the truth and that his desire to introduce her to me may well turn out to be yet another example of the strange meanderings of his mind ...as though, in a perverse way, he wants his 'companion' to be identified without him actually doing the identifying ....we shall see. |
